The state of the art training facility of Local 551 makes it possible for each plumber and pipefitter to receive the best classroom and hands on training to meet the ever changing needs of the plumbing and pipefitting industries.
UA Local 551 training center offers the apprentice the opportunity to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills for a successful career in the piping trades.
The apprentice will earn while they learn here while attending a work schedule and receiving pay and on the job training with a signatory contractor. The apprentice will also attend classroom and hands on training at the training center for another 246 hours of related training per year.
